Katherine Rhodes
Katherine Rhodes is a printmaker working in linocut, drypoint, and collagraph, to make landscape images. Her current focus is linocut prints of Stanage Edge and other areas of the Peak District. She works from her home studio in Sheffield. The linocut prints depict topographically accurate rockfaces such that named climbing routes and other rocky features are identifiable in the prints. This means they are recognisable to climbers, walkers and others that know Stanage well. The names given to the linocut prints often made reference a climbing route, or other part of Stanage that is depicted.
